FAQ for Workers
Where do I apply for a job?
Apply online at here. You can apply right on your mobile phone. It‘s super easy. We‘ll send you a link for ID verification. We can verify ID from over 85 countries.
Can I apply if I don't have any ID?
No. If you don‘t have “any“ Canadian, US, or Mexican ID, it will be difficult to provide you WCB. It‘ll also be difficult for someone to verify you at the cash pickup location.
Do I have WCB coverage?
Yes. All employees and contractors have WCB coverage.
Do you automatically take taxes off my pay?
If you are an employee of our company, by law, we are required to take taxes and source deductions off your pay.
If you are a sub-contractor of our company, by law, you are responsible for paying your own taxes and source deductions.
Do I need to pay taxes if I pick up cash from a cash location?
If you are a contractor of our company, we do not deduct taxes from your pay. We don’t get involved in your taxes. At the end of the year, you will be responsible for claiming and paying your taxes.
If you are our company employee, by law, we are required to deduct taxes.
Who pays for the PPE?
You need to own your workboots and goggles. We provide goggles, gloves and masks if you need them.
How and when do I get paid?
After the site manager approves your hours at the end of each day, we run the payroll and deposit money into your e-wallet.
When the money is in your e-wallet, it’s your choice to make a direct deposit to your bank account (next business day), send yourself an e-transfer (within a few minutes), or for you or one of your family members to pick up cash from thousands of locations in Canada, the US, or Mexico.
How do I get notified about available shifts?
There are two ways you get notified about shifts.
Notification by app. Every time there is a new shift available that you have the right skills for, we send a notification to your mobile phone. If you are interested, you select the shift, which is then added to your shift calendar.
Notification by call or SMS. Sometimes, we call to give you a heads-up to pick a shift or to book you for a shift.
What do I do if I can't go to work?
If your plans change and you can’t make the shift, you can repost it, and someone else can pick it up.
It’s important to know that the shift is yours until someone else picks it up.
Also, please make a point of calling your manager to let him/her know.
Who tracks my time?
The app logs you in as soon as you get to the job site. The app notifies you, our office, and the site manager if you are late.
At the end of the day, after you leave the job site, the app calculates how many hours you were on the job site and deducts your scheduled breaks.
Then, the app asks your shift manager to approve or adjust the hours. We automatically run the payroll and send money to your e-wallet when they do.
Why did the app calculate my time for less than I was scheduled?
If you arrived late, were off-site for lunch, or left early, the app calculates the hours accurately.
The app is pretty accurate, so if you work even a few minutes longer than you are supposed to, it will calculate it.
What is the star rating on the app all about?
Your shift manager can give you a star rating at the end of the shift to let us know how hard and how well you worked on that shift. We use this information to pay bonuses to the workers with the highest star ratings.
Can my wife pick up the cash in Mexican Pesos in Mexico if I get paid in Canadian or US dollars?
Yes. We deposit the money into your e-wallet in Canadian or US dollars at the end of the day. You can convert it to Mexican Pesos within a few clicks. You then inform the app where your wife will pick up the money in Mexico. You have access to over 5,000 pickup locations in Mexico.
